DESIGNED FOR HIGH-VOLUME ASPHALT HOT-MIX PRODUCTION

Used for ages for building roads, Hot Mix Asphalt still continues to be in favour and in demand for the sheer reason that its most effective in terms of costs, energy, savings and above all, its capability to assist in building effective and smooth roads and highways. Perhaps its most admirable quality is its inherent ability to evolve with time, in its constitution.

Even today, Hot Mix Asphalt is still considered much cheaper for building roads offering smother rides of heavy loads and also for the fact it’s easily repairable.

WHAT’S HOT MIX PLANT?

Also called Asphalt Plants or Asphalt Mixing Plant, a Hot Mix Plant mixes dry warm aggregate, padding and asphalt for homogenous mixture at the required temperature. The final output in the form of Hot Mix Asphalt is a combination of approximately 95% stone, sand, or gravel bound together by asphalt cement, a product of crude oil.

A Hot Mix Plant uses the latest hydraulic system for facilitating ease of plant construction making it accessible with filler silos, bitumen storage tank and other necessary components in tune with customer’s demands.

HOW IT WORKS?

  • Aggregates and asphalt are first combined together in a mixing facility.
  • All constituent materials are heated, proportioned and mixed to produce the desired paving mixture.

After the plant mixing process is over, the Hot Mix is transported to the paving site where it’s evenly spread in a loosely-compacted layer to a uniform surface, all with a paving machine. Then the still-hot paving mixture is further compacted by heavy motor-driven rollers, resulting in a smooth, even and well-compressed pavement surface layer.

WHAT BENEFITS IT OFFERS?

A Hot Mix Plant:

  • Is easy to install, mount and disassembled with less load and parts. No civil workers are needed for the tasks, which in turn helps to save precious money.

  • Self-erecting facility makes it easy to relocate. This helps to eliminate the need for using any crane for its set-up.

  • Is user-friendly and easy to operate.

  • Is cost and power-efficient.

  • Assures high-production output and excellent fuel-savings,

  • Requires low-installation costs and less-maintenance.

Widely used for mixing asphalt for various construction works like buildings, roads, parking lots, etc, a Hot Mix Plant is ideal for remote areas. Its pre-wired design helps to reduce erection time and cost, making it extremely effective for multiple purposes.

Going forward, Hot Mix Plant will still continue to have its unique slot simply for the fact that Hot Mix Asphalt is still preferable as a material of choice for roads and Asphalt can be easily recycled better than concrete.
